As soon as we came up with the idea of sailing the world, I was curious about celestial navigation. For my birthday this year I got a #sextant. Last week as as we layed at anchor I shot the sun a couple of times. It’s not that easy at the #IJsselmeer because it’s completely surrounded by land and you don’t get a clear vision of the horizon. But I cheated a little and take the land that’s almost at sea level as horizon. Now I have to do the math to find out where we were laying at anchor 😂
