Before we wrap up this season, we’re spending some extra time on the coast of Bohuslän in the northwestern part of Sweden. On our way, we came across a small island called Käringön. It’s really quiet here at this time of year, especially as there are fewer tourists.

But this idyllic place also had a downside. Every night we were visited by at least one mouse. On the first night we saw one in the cockpit, and on the second night we found traces of their visit. So the next day we searched every place in the boat that we could think of as a hiding place and set sail again. It seems the mouse didn’t come with us.
