The last few days…

December 11, 2022

The last few days with temperatures around freezing made the boat sweat like an athlete. So yesterday we cleaned out all the cabinets and compartments. Meanwhile the boat looked like it did back in March when we moved in.

All the things that were leaning against the hull or better liners got damp/wet. Some also started to mold ☹️ As new liveaboards, we learned our lesson. We need to check all closed up areas regularly and dry them more often. Because unfortunately, we can’t insulate the hull because of the way our boat is built.

What do you do to prevent condensation in compartments and lockers during winter? Let us know in the comments.
