Since we threw away the old leather wheel cover, we have been struggling with the fact that we no longer have a mark for the center rudder position. The problem is that nothing but duct tape will really hold in that spot.

Using the 4mm line we brought yesterday, we marked the top segment of the wheel instead of the actual center point. The diameter is a little too big, but we like the braid. Maybe we’ll try again with 3mm paracord.
