The Dutch are really great waterway architects. Near Enkhuizen they’ve built afaik the world’s only operational Naviduct. A motorway underpasses the two lock chambers. From the street it looks like a bridge in which the ships cross the street.

We drove under this sluice by car on some occasions. Now being on top of it in our own boat makes us so happy 😀

… and that the docking went well. 😂
